Position Overview
The Director of Care is a pivotal role in the provision of high-level clinical leadership throughout the organization.
This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and will oversee Clinical, Allied Health and Lifestyle services, ensuring that our care services exceed the Aged Care Quality Standards and provide the best practice high-quality care.
The Director of Care will manage the clinical health and wellbeing budgets, lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality and risk management systems. This role requires a strong focus on staff development and mentoring, as well as a commitment to maintaining a safe and ethical work environment.
Candidate Profile
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong background in aged care. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Current AHPRA Registered Nurse status.
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in aged care settings.
- Significant experience in team management and leadership.
- Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficient assessment and documentation skills.
The candidate should demonstrate a commitment to delivering exceptional care and have a proven track record in implementing best practices in clinical care.
